teacher strategy vault
The Who
15 years in the classroom. I've taught it all, and heard it all from colleagues - burnout, leadership battles, staffroom politics, the anxiety of registration. Honestly, I've lived most of it myself. I'm still an educator, just sitting in a different seat now.
The What
This site is the practical support I wish existed when I was teaching - step-by-step guides, templates and scripts sorted by the actual situations you're in, whether that's a classroom crisis, dealing with parents, or figuring out what's next. Featuring both free and paid teacher strategies, or if you'd rather talk it through, that's what 1:1 coaching sessions are for.
The Why
Most teaching strategies are about how to teach. This one's about you - the person doing it. Even a microscopic step in the right direction can be enough. I want it to be there whenever you need it, not just in a crisis.

Where are you on your journey?
For when you need tailored strategies for specific student, colleague, parent, workplace or health challenges.
For when you are looking at full registration, family planning, or a career change.
For when you are dealing with finance, emigration and Australian state requirements.
1:1 cognitive coaching sessions available
Have you ever felt stuck turning the same problem over in your mind, without getting anywhere new?
Cognitive coaching is simply a structured chat to help you sort through what’s going on in your classroom or career. Instead of a coach telling you what you “should” do, a cognitive coach asks a range of questions so you can unpack what’s happening, figure out what you actually want, and you decide on a next step that feels realistic for you.
